Bibles
- The WWW Bible Gateway. The best Bible on
the Internet, with the NIV, NASB, RSV, KJV, Darby, and YLT English
translations (including footnotes), as well as German, Swedish, Latin, French, Spanish, and Tagalog
translations. A search page exists. This is a great site to link to from Bible study pages
which have hypertext Bible references. It is the only site I've found with the NIV Bible
because the site is done in cooperation with the International Bible Society (who owns the
copyright). Numerous places seem to have the KJV Bible, presumably because it is in the
public domain.
- World Wide Study Bible. This site allows you
to select a book and chapter, including the Apocrypha, and see a variety of commentaries,
Bible dictionary entries, and translations relevant to the single chapter.
- Blue Letter Bible
(Old Version) Outstanding online
Bible with interlinear Hebrew or Greek on every verse. Annotated with the Treasury
of Scripture Knowledge, and keyed to Strong's Concordance. Also includes Matthew Henry's
commentary and a few others.
- Crosswalk.com's Online Study Bible. Search and lookup
in many translations, plus Greek and Hebrew interlinear bibles and parallel bibles.
(For interlinear Bibles, you must download and install their Greek and Hebrew fonts.)
- Unbound Bible from Biola University.
Excellent support for Greek and Hebrew study as well.
- Bible Browser Advanced
Home Page. Search through many translations for occurrences of complex combinations of
words or word parts.
