Welcome to the home page of Stephen Adkins. I host or was involved in the development of the following sites.

• Truth and Reason - A set of Christian links and accompanying personal commentary, presenting what has been the compelling case for Christianity as I understand it.

Beyond listing these sites, I ask myself, "Why would I want to have a personal web page?" "What do I have that I want to publish to the entire world?" "And why should any other people care?"

In answer to these questions, I have decided that my personal web page serves two functions.

• to share exciting developments in my life with those around the planet who already have a relationship with me, and therefore intrinsically care about what I have to say. In effect, this web page serves simply as a way to broadcast words and pictures easily to people I know and love. (It's a whole lot easier than making a huge mailing.) • to espouse my ideals which are motivated by my love for the one God. If you happen to have stumbled onto this site without having known me, I hope that this site can inspire you to know God better and better. (If you are seeking God, feel free to e-mail me. Maybe I can help, or hook you up with someone close to you who can.)

Some time back, I evaluated my life and asked myself what I really cared about in life. The framework I decided on then continues to be the guiding framework for my life, and it helps me refocus when I get off-track.

The following are my life goals. I'm naturally an introvert, an engineer, a thinker. But above all, I want my life to be characterized by love... and love for the right things. I choose for my life to display the following four loves.

Life Goals

• love God - (to be hopelessly in love with God)
• love People - (to have deep relationships)
• love Righteousness - (to have a noble character)
• love Life - (to have visionary direction in everything I do)

Unlike many web sites, this one is alive. I will develop it over time. It is always under construction.
